When many teeth are failing at once, a dentist may consider a staged full-mouth plan combining implants, crowns, bridges or dentures. This is complex treatment. Compare the complete diagnosis, alternatives, number of visits, risks, aftercare and total travel cost, not only the headline price.

The short answer: full mouth dental implants in Romania are quoted per case after scans rather than from a price list, which is how serious full-arch work should be quoted anywhere. Expect two or more trips with months of healing between them, and treat any fixed price offered before diagnostics as a warning sign rather than a bargain.

It is a per-jaw treatment, so “All-on-4” describes one arch, not a full mouth. A full mouth means both arches, planned and priced separately, sometimes with different answers for each.

The approach is well studied. A 2022 systematic review and meta-analysis pooling 24 studies and 2,637 patients across 3 to 18 years of follow-up found cumulative survival of 93.91% at the implant level and 99.31% at the prosthesis level. The gap between those numbers is worth understanding: an individual implant can fail while the bridge it supports survives, which is part of why the design uses more implants than the minimum it strictly needs.

All-on-6, and when more implants are proposed

All-on-6 spreads the same fixed bridge across six implants. More implants spread load and can add security where bone is softer, most often in the upper jaw, but more is not automatically better. Each extra implant needs bone to sit in, adds surgery and adds cost.

Full-arch implants need enough bone, reasonable general health and honest conversations about smoking, diabetes and any medication affecting bone. The angled-implant designs exist precisely to work with less bone, but they do not remove the requirement altogether.

The alternatives deserve pricing in the same plan. A conventional full denture costs a fraction as much, is removable and works well for many people. An implant-retained overdenture, a denture that clips onto two or four implants, sits between the two in cost and stability. And where some teeth are genuinely saveable, a staged plan keeping them with crowns and bridges can be the more conservative route.
