Romania is an EU member state: clinics operate under EU medical device and hygiene regulations and dentists are university-trained and registered with the Romanian College of Dental Medicine. As anywhere, including the UK, quality varies between individual clinics, which is exactly why we disclose the proposed clinic and treating dentist before you decide so you can verify registration, the written plan and guarantee terms.

It depends on the treatment: our pricing table shows about 15-50% on E.max veneers, up to 60% on zirconia crowns and up to 70% on implant work against UK private prices, and the saving usually survives the cost of flights and hotels on anything beyond a single small treatment. For small single treatments the travel costs outweigh the saving, and we will say so rather than encourage a pointless trip. See our pricing page for indicative ranges.

The savings come from lower clinic overheads, wages and laboratory costs in Romania, not from cutting corners. Straumann implants and IPS e.max ceramics are available at every partner clinic, so the saving does not come from a cheaper material. Facilities and clinician experience do differ between clinics. You receive the exact brand names in your written plan, so you can verify them yourself.

You contact us, not a foreign call centre. Work is covered by the clinic’s written guarantee (terms stated in your plan). Depending on the issue, it is resolved on a return visit, sometimes combined with a planned second stage or for minor adjustments with a local dentist and the clinic’s support. We stay involved until it is fixed.

English-language communication is one of the practical points we check when proposing a match. Confirm the treating dentist and language arrangements before deciding. Your treatment plan, quote and guarantee are provided in English, and we are always available as a UK point of contact.

Our service is free for patients. Clinics pay us a referral fee that does not affect your price. You pay the clinic directly after treatment, usually by card or bank transfer; the amount matches your written quote. We never ask patients for deposits or payments to us.

Veneers, crowns and whitening: usually one trip of 5-8 days. Implants: usually two trips: a short placement visit, then the final teeth 3-6 months later once the implant has integrated. Your plan states the exact schedule before you book anything.

UK passport holders don’t need a visa for short stays in Romania (standard 90-in-180-day rules for the EU/Schengen area apply; check current government guidance before travelling). Direct flights from several UK airports take around 3-3.5 hours. We coordinate clinic dates; you choose and pay flight, accommodation and local-transport suppliers directly.

Absolutely. A recent panoramic X-ray (OPG) lets a partner dentist give you a much firmer plan and price, and if you have a UK quote we can produce a like-for-like comparison, brand for brand. Send them with your enquiry or afterwards by email or WhatsApp, with your consent.
